Parking meters will be turned off throughout Brisbane from today, to help support essential workers who are still required to travel to their work places.

Brisbane City Council is also offering a $5-per-day parking rate at its King George Square and Wickham Terrace car parks.

These temporary measures will apply during Brisbane’s lockdown period.
